Missouri State Water Patrol regulates that if you were born before January 1, 1984 you do not need a boaters license to drive a boat. If you were born after January 1, 1984, you will need to have a boaters license from the state you live in or in Missouri. You can get that here: https://www.boat-ed.com/missouri/

Anyone age 16 and older can rent a kayak without parental consent. Anyone age 15 and younger will need parental consent and signature approval.

If it rains on the day of your boat rental, we cannot give you a refund. However, if there is and extended period of lightning, we will issue a refund. It’s important to reserve your boat rental beforehand to make sure you have one available when you arrive. If you cancel your reservation 24 hours before the rental time, you will get a full refund. But if you cancel after that time, you won’t get a refund.
